The solid ramps and shelves are easy on a chin's feet. The plastic shelves are also easy to clean. The cage has a solid bottom with high sides to help contain scattered litter. The size is not very large, but for one or maybe two chins who get lots of outside playtime, the size should be adequate (although we wouldn't recommend anything smaller). It's a very good looking cage and the fact that it comes with a Leap-N-Ledge and a Chinchilla Bath House makes it an attractive value.
