TOO SMALL!!!

I have a couple of these, but quit using them a while back because they are just simply to small and uncomfortable for my fattened up chins. I now use, and highly recommend getting a domed kittie litter box and using it instead. I keep mine in their closet and let them use it each night during exercise time. It also keeps the room from getting covered in volcanic ash.

and it's nice for us too. We recently adopted our chin and the previous owners were using a large soup bowl... dust went everywhere. This really keeps the mess contained. My only knock is that it's a bit tough to clear out the soiled dust, but I would rather clean that box than my carpet.

Before I got my chinchilla I was shopping around and finding all kinds of different things to spoil him with when I came across this. I got this bath house and chinchilla bath dust and I can still remember that first time I put Roo in his house. He started rolling around and you could just tell that he absolutely loved it!
The bath house does rock but my chin doesn't mind it at all. He loves it so much that I put it in his cage one day for him to take a bath and whenever I went in to take it out of his cage he was in it sleeping. I also used his bath house to lure him out of a hiding spot that he snuck into while he was playing.
You will definitely get your moneys worth if you get this bath house!

    Great Bath House

Like the title says, this is a very good bath house, but the only problem is that one of my chins likes to take long, luxurious baths (like my wife) and getting him out of here can be a pain sometimes. But the way it can hang off the bars of the cage or sit on the ground, and the way it is somewhat sealed so it keeps the dust from flying in all directions is a definite plus. Maybe a snap-off top would be a nice addition to get out stubborn chins after a 20 minute bath.

   Excellent except it's plastic

This bath house design is excellent. My chin got plenty of room to bath in the sand and it went crazy inside it for a while. However, the only downside of this bath house is that it's made of plastic. And so after my chin's done with the bath, it starts to bite the plastic. So far I haven't seen any bath house better than this though. It can be improved by using metal as the material. This bath house is good, but not perfect yet. (**Note from ChinWorld - Chins chewing on their bath house is another reason why a bath house shouldn't be left in a cage for more than about 10 minutes!)

   Bath House

I love this bath house, it keeps the bath dust from getting all over the room but it still leaves plenty of room for my chin to roll around and play in. Everytime I pick it up she knows what it is and jumps around to try to get in it, so I know she gets a lot of enjoyment out of it as well.
