Pet Greens® Garden ia a "grow your own" wheatgrass kit
that provides a safe, healthy and tasty treat when given
in moderation. About 90% of our chins like the wheatgrass
and most are nuts about it. It's a good alternative to
treats that contain sugar like raisins, papaya, and dried
fruits.
To grow, simply cut off the top half of the bag where
indicated and water. It takes about 7 to 10 days to sprout.
You can trim off and feed the grass when it's about 3"
to 4" and it will cotinue to grow for another couple of
"harvests".
It’s the safe alternative to nibbling on potentially harmful
houseplants and outdoor grasses. But please remember
that too much fresh greens can be hard on a chin's
digestive system. We would strongly suggest that you
trim off a bit off grass and feed only a few strands at
a time to prevent your chin from getting soft poops.
