Mrs. Pastures® Cookies for Horses are hard little cookies that chins love to chew. We now have them available in three convenient sized packages: an 8 oz. bag, a 35 oz. jar, and a 5 lb. bag. The eight ounce bag contains about about 22 cookies. The cookies are made of oats, wheat bran, cane molasses, rolled barley, apples and water and they contain no preservatives. Here's some more technical information about Mrs. Pastures® Cookies for Horses: Cookie size: approx. 1 1/4" diameter by approx. 3/8" thick. Guaranteed Analysis: Crude protein not less than 11.5% Crude fat not less than 2.0% Crude fiber not less than 5.0% Ash not less than 6.0% Moisture not less than 9.0% Personally, we think they should consider changing the name of this product from Mrs. Pastures® Cookies for Horses to Mrs. Pastures® Cookies for Chinchillas! I break one of these up for my 3 chins and give it to them for there nightly snack... They love them and they really have to chew to eat them so it keeps them busy for a while too!

Wow, I get these for my horses all the time but I never knew chinchillas could have them too. They're much cheaper here too. The horse catalogs are $20 for 5 lbs. I'll start buying them from here for my horses and share them with my chinchilla too.

I got a sample of these with one of my purchases. At first I was skeptical, but Nibbles loves them!! My other chin Fidget acts like he doesn't like it but he steals them from Nibbles! I love the fact since they're hard to chew, it's like a toy & a treat at the same time!

My chins are pretty picky about what they are fed. But once I put these cookies in the cage, they both go crazy. They even try to steal them from each other. It's the only treat they finish in a day.

I got this as a sample and gave it to my chinchilla and he ate the whole thing in less than a day. This is the closest treat to the raisin. I recommend this treat to any chinchilla owner.

I have 3 boys they all love these. I got them as a sample in my order. Even my picky chin gobbled them up. I will be ordering these on a regular basis. It will take your chin a while to eat so they enjoy the taste longer.
