Vitakraft Alfalfa Slims are a healthy, sugar-free treat your chin(s) will probably love. They are small (about 2 inches long) hollow crispy "logs." We suggest breaking them into pieces and feeding a few small pieces at a time. Ingredients: Wheat, corn, alfalfa, soybean splits, calcium phosphate, carrots (dehydrated), vitamin A acetate and palmitate (source of Vit. A), D-activated animal sterol (source of Vit. D), dl-alpha-tocopheryl acetate (source of Vit. E). WARNING: Too many treats can be harmful to your pet chinchilla. It's easy for first-time pet chin owners to over feed treats. Remember the general rule-of-thumb, no more than one treat per day.

Sir-wobbles-alot A.K.A. old man isn't fond of sweet snacks so this is a great snack for him, my other chinnies also eat these. I cut them in half because they are pretty big.
