Vitakraft Calcium Sticks for Chinchillas provide a nutrious
way to add extra calcium, vitamins and other minerals to
a chin's diet. Each box contains two calcium sticks.
According to Vitacraft, calcium sticks "stimulate the
chinchillas natural zest for activity" and "They also
stimulate the instinctive urge to forage for food as if
in its natural habitat."
Calcium sticks are made in Germany and contain wheat, rapeseet,
rice, buckwheat, barley, calcium carbonate, wheat flour,
dextrin, honey, lecithin, sunflower oil, willow bark.

"Boddington Apple Squeeksworth the Second" (a.k.a. "Chilly Billy") loves it when I put one of these in his cage. It only takes him a few days to munch the whole thing down, and then he often chews on the wood underneath as well. I've tried several different kinds of stick treats, but this one is by far the best yet. Boddington agrees.

I received this in my order I got yesterday and I put one in my chinchillas' cage. Less than 24 hours later all that remains in the base stick and the wire. My girls LOVE these and they're nutritious, what more could an owner want for their chinnies? :)

My chins can eat one of these in 1-2 days. They love them. I love them because of the vitamins and the wooden stick inside helps with their teeth. After about 2 days I am left with the wire hanging on the cage...

This is really a good chew treat, not only packed with vitamins but fun for your your chinchilla. Plus my favorite part is that it has a small wire built in one tip so you can hang it, and keep it clean from litter and urine.

Vitakraft sticks are both nutritious and delicious. Our Chicka is a big fan of Calcium Sticks; she forgets about her regular food and finishes the stick in 3-4 days. Then she starts to chew on the wooden shaft left. I give her 1 stick once in 2-3 months.
