Normally we suggest purchasing cage litter
(heat-treated pine shavings, aspen, or Care Fresh™)
locally since shipping costs would outweigh the price
savings. We have many customers who have asked us what
the safest litter available is. Also, some customers
have allergies and have asked about a hypoallergenic
litter. The answer for all of these customers is Small
Pet Eco-Bedding. This is the product used with
laboratory animals where a sterile environment is
required. Small Pet Eco-Bedding is made from 100%
recycled paper that is cut and folded into
accordion-like short strips that are absorbent, odor free
and (unlike other litters) completely dust free.
Small Pet Eco-Bedding is completely safe for
chinchillas to ingest and we’ve found that after
the novelty wears off, our chins don’t bother
tasting it. The main feature we really like about
Small Pet Eco-Bedding is there is absolutely no
respiratory irritation with this litter, either
for chins or humans. (This is very important!) We
also like the fact while our pets enjoy a cleaner
environment in our home, we are helping to maintain
a better environment in the world we all share. |

This bedding is definitely one of the best for my chinchillas. They pee a lot, so the smell with other bedding would go through my whole room. But with Eco-Bedding, my room smells clean again and I don't have to change it more than maybe two times a week. I would recommend it to anyone.

Wow. Luckily the petsmart near me carries this stuff. If it didn't I would definitely pay the shipping. Nothing else compares.
