Our Grapewood Chew Toy is made from vines taken from an old Arizona vineyard. It is "chin safe" and about 11" long. While the toy cannot be reloaded like hour hanging chew toy, grapewood is quite hard so this toy will last a long time.

I hooked this chew toy on the side of my chin's cage at the second ramp. At the time Danny Boy was napping on the cage's bottom. Of course, he woke right away. He knew something was up. As birds and rodents often do, he waited until I had left the room to explore the new happening (unbeknownst to him, I hid behind a door and was able to view him in the mirror). The first thing he did was sniff and sniff. Then he jumped back and forth from the bottom to the first ramp of the cage, taking a look at the new piece of furniture, but playing it cautious and not moving towards it rashly. Finally he took the big plunge (or I should say "jump,") and moved to the second ramp and over to the toy. He was thrilled. That was five minutes ago and he is still chomping away in Chin heaven. Very glad I purchased this item, taking a chance because of course he might not have shown any interest in it at all. Living in domesticity takes its toll on natural creatures. Monotony is a debilitative factor. My Chin, Danny Boy, is definitely not bored on this day. He is overjoyed!
