The Super Pet Leap-n-Ledge is a "Lofty Look-Out Perch for
Pets." At about 6 1/2 inches long, this wooden perch
makes it very easy to give your chinchilla a little spot
to sit a view the world below.
A wing-nut and two large washers make it easy to attach
the Leap-n-Ledge. (There are grooves cut on the back to
fit Super Pet cages, but we find that the washers allow
the Leap-n-Ledge to work fine with any wire cage.)
With multiple Leap-n-Ledges it's easy to create a "stair
steps" effect where the chins can jump from one ledge to
the next. We also like that the ledges can be easily
rearranged from time to time for a little variety.

 Cool, but...

These are cool, but they twist and they broke one of the bars on my cage. I recommend the one with two of the cage hook thingies. =)

I just installed the leap-n-ledge in my chins cage and it has been occupied ever since. Any chinchilla will enjoy a new perch in their home.

A Must Have for Every Cage

Every cage should have at least one of these in addition to the other platforms that should be in your cage. My chins love to run around and jump to it, and it does help enrich their environment and give your cage more usable space.

It's hard to realize how important this item will be to your chin until you buy one. I first bought a Leap'n'Ledge(the smaller shelf) about a year ago and aside from his wheel, this is definitely his favorite part of the cage. I discovered the wonders of ChinWorld.com recently, and decided to buy the larger version seeing as I now have two very wonderful chinchillas. They love it, and if one of them is not up there, the other is.
Definite must-have for a chinchilla that needs to know everything going on around it
