February Special Blue Cloud Chinchilla Dust is the "gold standard" of chin bath dusts. It is not too hard and not too soft. It cleans without damaging the fur or skin. Chins should get dust baths at least three times per week. In areas of high humidity dust baths should be given more often. Dust baths should last a maximum of about five to ten minutes. Longer tends to dry out a chinchilla's skin. The dust in a chinchilla's dust bath should be cleaned regularly (in other words, remove the "poops"), and replaced about every two to three weeks.

Another great price from ChinWorld (as usual)!! Their favorite is when it's FRESH dust they just keep rolling & rolling. Minnie, a black velvet, looks like a standard grey after roll in the bath house! P.S.: When you order, order BIG!! With dust or food I get it in 25lb. bags it seems like a lot, but for the price of shipping it's well worth it!! I also order the little extras (treats, health care items, ect.). It hardly changes the price of shipping!

Joey, our chinchilla, looks like Casper the friendly ghost when he is finished with dusting with Blue Cloud. When we let him sleep overnight in our bedroom for playtime, he tumbles around 8 times in his dusthouse before his evening of fun!

Everyone I asked recommended this dust. I don't personally like dust because then my bathroom looks pretty cloudy when my chin is through, but it doesn't irritae his eyes and he feels great afterwards.
